Some Rules for Pet Owners
We want you to have fun creating amazing #happystays memories , but we would
like to be clear on a few site rules sp that we all have a great time on holiday and we
take into consideration the safety and enjoyment of other guests on park. So here’s a
few rules which must be adhered to when holidaying with your pet.
- All dogs must be kept on a lead at all times and under the control of a responsible adult.
- Dogs must wear a collar and ID tag at all times
- Please make sure you clean up after your dog – both on park and out-and-about
- With the exception of assistance dogs, dogs must not enter any of the park’s facilities or children’s play areas
- With the exception of assistance dogs, your dog should not enter other holiday homes not designated as pet friendly – or an additional cleaning charge may be applied
- Please note, some breeds of dog, including those listed on the Dangerous
- Dogs Act are not allowed on park
- Please note that if we find that your luxury hire-van requires additional cleaning due to the presence of your pet, we will contact you and discuss this with you and deduct an amount from your security deposit.
- Please be advised that should your pet cause any damage you will be required to pay for relevant repairs and this will be deducted from your security deposit or we will not return your refundable deposit if we find that your luxury hire van has not be left in an acceptable condition
We also welcome (well-trained) across all our accommodation types of our holiday homes- namely our camping cabins, geo domes and in our touring and camping site and new for this summer season 2023 in some of our luxury hire vans- both in CastleWood, Antrim and Hilltop Holiday Park, Portrush!




Assistance Dogs
Assistance dogs are exempt from additional charges and are welcome in all of our holiday parks and accommodation. Pets other than dogs may also be allowed on park, however, this is at the discretion of the management. If you do wish to bring a registered assistance dog, please inform us when booking. Supporting documentation to evidence that the dog is a registered assistance dog must be available for inspection prior to and during your holiday. If you aren’t able to show this, you will be charged the pet fee. If you have a query regarding your pet, don’t hesitate to contact us prior to booking and our #happytstays booking team will be happy to help.
We don’t accept dogs listed under the Dangerous Dogs Act. If you have a dog that’s
noisy or behaving badly, we may ask you to take them away, so please keep your dog
on a lead and make sure a responsible adult is looking after it. Please bear in mind
that you won’t be able to take your pet into our shop, restaurant, playpark.
All dogs must be kept under control, whilst on site, and on a short lead. Excessive barking will not be tolerated. If dog fouling occurs it must be cleared up immediately and placed in the bins provided.
